You make your own way to the island by ferry, then walk about 15 minutes from the jetty to the terminal building at the Rottnest airfield, where the paperwork, harness and safety briefing happen. The plane climbs to your chosen height, you fall at around 200 km/h, your instructor opens the parachute at 5,000 feet, and you land on the beach, where friends and family can watch. Good to Know
- This booking does NOT include ferry tickets, however, please phone 1 hour prior to your Rottnest Island travel departure time to confirm the weather is suitable.
- Operating hours vary season to season, your skydive time slot will be confirmed post-booking
- Your eligibility to skydive will be assessed on the day by the chief safety instructor (subject to your weight, height, health, and relevant medical conditions)
- Passengers weighing more than 95 kilograms will be taken on a case-by-case basis
- Children aged 16-17 years must be accompanied by an adult or legal guardian on the day of the skydive
- All bookings are weather dependent (you must wear enclosed sports shoes for the jump). If Skydive Geronimo cancels or cannot operate the skydive due to weather, travelers will receive a refund.
